Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter access points, while helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor foot traffic and activity at assigned areas, provide directions and assistance when needed, and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contact.
• Support closing and opening procedures as assigned, help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations, and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
