As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol Duty in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity according to site protocols, while documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity as required.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant updates during shift changes and with site representatives.
