About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access activity, deliver strong customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site rules for personnel, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Document observations, complete required reports, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues.
