About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Screening at a logistics and distribution location in Walton, Kentucky, you will help safeguard clients and support a professional environment for employees and visitors. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, screen and direct visitors and delivery personnel, and report security-related concerns. The role emphasizes customer service, communication, reliability, teamwork, and integrity. The position is full-time and pays $15.95 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM; Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.
X-ray screening experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Screen and direct delivery personnel, contractors, and visitors according to site procedures while supporting the orderly flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
