As a Security Officer Unarmed Bicycle Route Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will ride a bicycle throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with the public, communicate observations clearly, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Ability to ride a bike is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain orderly conditions.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communications records in accordance with site procedures.
