As a Security Officer Bicycle Route Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report security-related concerns, assist visitors and community members, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local authorities regarding incidents and daily activities.
