As a Security Officer Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public education location, you will monitor assigned areas by bicycle, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, school district policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, parking areas, entrances, athletic facilities, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence during school hours and events.
Document incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.
