As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access and badge activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, and access points to help identify unauthorized activity, operational concerns, and/or conditions that may require reporting.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow site access control procedures for a chemical and petrochemical location.
Support incident reporting, equipment checks, and post orders while maintaining awareness of restricted areas, vehicle traffic, and/or delivery activity across the property.
