As a Security Officer Patrol Driver TWIC Badge in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and document security-related incidents, concerns, and daily activities.
  • Support access control, perimeter awareness, and emergency-related directions while working in varying environments and conditions typical of an industrial location.
