Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, and perimeter locations, with duties varying by site conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries to help support authorized site access and report unusual activity according to post instructions.
• Assist with site-specific logistics and distribution operations by observing shipping and receiving areas, reporting operational irregularities, and/or following established communication protocols.
