As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a large industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe activity, document concerns, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months
• TSA Issued TWIC
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at gates, doors, and/or designated checkpoints by verifying identification and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry and exit as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate via radio and/or phone, and coordinate with site personnel and/or responding authorities as needed.
