Job Description As a Security Officer - TWIC Mobile Patrol Driver in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a utilities location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and reports with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or post orders, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, log entries and exits, and support controlled access for employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Complete timely reports and maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to supervision and/or client representatives.
