As a Security Officer TWIC Entry Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting security-related operations with a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures for access control at an industrial location, including monitoring entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
  • Verify credentials, badges, permits, and/or authorization documents before allowing access to restricted areas, and report discrepancies through appropriate site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including support for emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, gate areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and vehicle entry documentation, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding access requests and security-related procedures.
