As a Security Officer TWIC Access Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, customer-focused environment while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, maintain required logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues.
