About The Position

As a Security Officer Transit Station in Hemet, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit platforms, passenger areas, parking locations, facilities, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions according to site protocols.
• Support orderly operations by assisting visitors, riders, and staff with directions, basic information, and/or security-related questions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
