As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as assigned, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public-service agencies when directed.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
