As a Security Officer - Logistics Center in Tualatin, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report irregularities, and support orderly traffic flow for delivery vehicles and personnel.
