About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Entry Coordination in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery driver entry and exit, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
  • Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, maintain gate logs, and report irregularities involving deliveries, trailers, shipping areas, or restricted-access points.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and distribution operations areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
