About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats before they escalate. The role is based in Kansas City, Kansas, and includes surveillance monitoring, incident response, regular patrols, and access control to help protect people and property. The schedule is full-time: Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Wednesdays through Fridays from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.58. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
