About The Position

The Patrolling Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, helping protect client property and personnel. The role preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area, and frequently provides customer service and information to client employees and customers.

This position pays $17.00 per hour and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Candidates should be able to work well independently and maintain good attendance. No experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Must work well independently.
• Good attendance required.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
