About The Position

The Patrolling Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling assigned locations. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents, safeguarding client property and personnel, preserving order, and enforcing site-specific regulations and directives. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and patrol assigned client locations.

• Complete extended foot patrols.
