Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and media personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the broadcast facility, production areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry for employees, vendors, guests, and delivery personnel.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and work collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
