As a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare-related business environment.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain controlled entry to restricted business areas.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
