As a Security Officer Hospital Foot Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, public spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help maintain visitor access procedures in accordance with site policies, documenting incidents and completing required reports.
  • Assist with directions, escorts, and other non-clinical support services while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
