Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond to security-related concerns, document activity, and work as part of a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following client policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor foot traffic, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized behavior, theft-related concerns, and/or disruptions within the location.
• Support loss prevention and other store personnel with security-related presence, customer assistance, and/or incident response in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
