About The Position

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and policy-related concerns.
