About The Position

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking professional and dependable Site Security Officers to support security operations at government facilities and installations. This position is responsible for protecting personnel, property, equipment, and facilities through access control, security monitoring, patrol operations, and emergency response activities. The ideal candidate is alert, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while interacting professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and government personnel. This role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic situations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of security, military, law enforcement, or related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow instructions, prepare reports, and communicate effectively.
  • Must successfully pass all required background investigations and medical evaluations.
  • Must have no felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history.
  • Must meet and maintain all requirements under 10 CFR Part 1046 Medical, Physical Readiness, Training, and Access Authorization Standards for Protective Force Personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or protective services experience.
  • Experience supporting federal, DOE, or government service contracts.
  • Experience with access control, patrol operations, visitor management, or incident response.
  • Experience monitoring alarms or dispatching security personnel.
  • Knowledge of security operations, access control procedures, and incident response practices.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies and stressful situations.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate and detailed reports.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience using standard office software applications.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security services for government facilities, personnel, property, and assets.
  • Control access to facilities by verifying credentials and screening employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Conduct patrols and security checks to identify potential safety and security concerns.
  • Monitor facilities, grounds, and surrounding areas for suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and security-related situations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to incidents, inspections, and daily activities.
  • Escort personnel and visitors as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors, site personnel, and emergency responders.
  • Provide professional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, VIPs, and government representatives.
  • Enforce site security procedures, post orders, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism, situational awareness, and self-control in stressful situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
