Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and patient movement in accordance with location protocols, offering assistance and reporting security-related concerns.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and/or noteworthy observations with accuracy and professionalism.
