As a Security Officer Site Access Control in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity at Allied Universal.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, deliveries, and trailer activity to help to support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and/or materials throughout the location.
- Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or operational concerns encountered during patrols, following post orders and escalation protocols.
