Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a strong visible presence. This role offers the chance to support access activity, deliver exceptional customer service and communication, and work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry requirements, and report suspicious behavior, operational concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support day-to-day operations by completing required reports, documenting incidents, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
