Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, maintain access logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Support badge access, visitor check-in, package handling, and phone or radio communications while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions at the front desk.
  • Document routine activities, unusual events, and/or security-related incidents in required reports and communicate relevant information to clients, staff, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
