As a Security Officer Driver in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, visitor screening, and professional communication for security-related matters. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor reception duties, badge access support, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, greet employees, visitors, and vendors, and help to direct individuals according to location protocols and access requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Perform access control and front desk administrative tasks such as verifying identification, logging visitors, issuing passes, answering phones, and documenting security-related events.
  • Support a professional atmosphere within a healthcare location by observing activity at the front desk and reporting unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues to the appropriate contact.
