Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, staff, and vendors, managing access procedures, and following site-specific policies for a healthcare location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and other front desk documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support daily front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests, assisting with deliveries and/or appointments, and reporting unusual activity or concerns according to post procedures.
