Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and provide outstanding communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by checking identification, validating visitor information, issuing visitor badges, and/or documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with location policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, providing directions, assisting with sign-in processes, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to front desk activity, access control, and/or security-related incidents within a healthcare location.
