Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site access for visitors and staff. This is a driving post. In this role, you will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication while representing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a busy logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through Allied Universal and site communication channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and loading or shipping zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
