As a Security Officer Secure Entrance in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity using computer or tablet systems, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, team-focused culture built on integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant activity according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
