Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
  • Monitor entry points, verify identification and credentials, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting follow-up actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
