About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Bloomington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen packages, vehicles, personnel, and/or visitors in accordance with established procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors while maintaining accurate records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, business operations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
