As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will support a correctional facility location by monitoring access points, screening individuals and belongings, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional, visible presence, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and help deter incidents through attentive observation. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor access points, screen individuals and belongings, and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain a professional, visible presence.
• Communicate clearly with staff and visitors.
• Help deter incidents through attentive observation.
