As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Screening Compliance in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. This driving position may include operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and deliveries entering and leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unauthorized access attempts or prohibited items.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter, while reporting security-related concerns.
