About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Screening Analyst in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry activity, screen people and/or materials, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine observation, and clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen people, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or communicating details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and/or suspicious activity within assigned areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions in shipping, receiving, dock, and warehouse areas.
