As a Security Officer Screener in Kenner, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen people and/or materials, and support security-related operations through visible presence, attention to detail, and strong communication. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures and reporting guidelines.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and/or visitor authorization to help support authorized entry and movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or other security-related concerns.
