As a Security Officer Screening Support in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener in a retail location, you will help monitor entry points, observe activity, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening practices, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Screen associates, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering designated areas by following post instructions and documenting security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, policy questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor entry points, help to deter unauthorized access, and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and/or unusual behavior according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for security-related issues and customer service needs.
