Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, students, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government education location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe daily activity, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support school and location procedures during arrival, dismissal, events, and/or after-hours operations while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
