As a Security Officer Patrol in Wenatchee, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government utility location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and restricted areas, verifying entry permissions and reporting suspicious behavior, trespassing, and/or unsecured property in accordance with post instructions.
  • Support site operations by preparing reports, maintaining activity logs, and providing clear communication during routine duties, public interactions, and/or incident response.
