Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, operational areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, service requests, and/or security-related concerns.
Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and following post orders related to after-hours access, restricted areas, and incident response.
