About The Position

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Marshall, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization; and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Observe and report conditions that could affect operations, product areas, employee access, or facility property, and complete clear, timely incident and shift reports.
