As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, gates, baggage areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
  • Monitor access to designated areas and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
