About The Position

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Branchburg, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support access awareness and other security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, office areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and contractors, verifying credentials and following site access procedures for restricted and operational areas.
• Support security-related operations for a manufacturing and industrial location by observing equipment and material movement, noting policy violations, and communicating clearly with site personnel during routine and emergency situations.
