As a Security Officer Rover Driver Enhanced Part Time in Peoria, IL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or other security-related duties appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and/or report maintenance, access, or policy issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations according to post orders and site policies.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic during shift operations, deliveries, and/or incidents as needed.
